It was “Teachers Day” last Saturday, so my workplace prepared an activity for us. Me and my friends planned already to spend time together after that in a coffee shop.
We headed to somewhere new (to some of us) and somewhere quiet. We went to The Coffee Bean in Abreeza Mall. Jo was treating us to celebrate her birthday, so I made sure that I will get their best seller. I’m not really good in remembering but I ordered something that had “dream” on its name (lol!). It has to have whip cream of course to seal the deal.
The place was big and it was more elegant because it had few people around. The wifi connection wasn’t free so it explains why only few people come here though it still gets filled up. Their coffee was really good and so was their food. There were a lot to choose from so this is a good place to go.
And there was this purple thing they gave to tell us that our orders are done. They don’t shout our names so I think it’s cool. My friends and I enjoyed the place and of course the company. I love the purple straw. I remember going to TCBL in Manila and took a lot of pictures of the straw because the color was so striking.
It was a good afternoon with friends. Kitine is having a baby soon and were all excited. Jo is celebrating another year of her life (and almost another baby). Ate May’s daughter is joining “Mutya ng Dabaw”, so she is the blabbing stage mom now (we so love her). I am getting married and I am happy they are checking up on me all the time and my preparations. I didn’t have to tell them how happy I am coz it shows.
It was a good weekend with them who I don’t get to be with as often as before. It was a good place with good coffee, and the stories gave the best feel and laugh. Until next time.
